In March of this year, a new company (Kate Farms) launched a product that has a billing code for insurance purposes. They have a more calorie dense, 1.5 version that is still pending, but the 1.1 type already has approval. They're also going to introduce a blended food variety later this this summer.
Kate Farms, for those who pay out of pocket, is more affordable than Liquid Hope or Real Food Blends. Also, because it costs a little less, it might make Medicare a bit more receptive to covering it.
It is thin enough to gravity feed, and they have a retail version that is available at some grocery stores, which, although has fewer calories, is a complete meal replacement.
