"The Buckwheat" was designed to allow single hand operation for a person with a gastic feeding tube. The intent behind the original design was to allow my father to continue his independence as ALS took away his strength and mobility.
Currently there are 3 people that are using the device and have found it to make feedings much less of a hassle. 1 person has Bulbar Onset and can use "The Buckwheat" herself, the other 2 have their caregivers use it.
