Can anyone tell me please if prior to having Bulbar ALS do you feel numbness around the mouth area. In the past two weeks on and off I have felt like I have been to the dentist.
I Did, but it had nothing to do with ALS. Low vitamin D, from what DRS tell me, Vitamin D level is supposed to be around 40. My level was 2. I was put on RX vitamin D, after 3 to 4 weeks the numbness and tingling subsided.
The question you asked about numbness concerns bulba onset ALS. This thread is about MMN. You will not get a lot of responses here on this thread. Do you have ALS for sure or are you wondering about your numbness? You may want to place your question on the ALS part of the forum. Best Wishes, Peg
Hi Doris. I have limb onset but am starting some bulbar symptoms. Strangely As I read your post I was getting that tingling around my mouth. Lasted about 30 seconds. Wicked cramps when I yawn too.
