question on blood pressure......

hey all.....just heard the other day that my brother had a little set back when his bp got too high....i have not been able to get the facts yet, but, i was just wonderin' if als does effect one's bp in that way? he is also under a lot of stress, not only because of als, but because our parents and his wife are not getting along too well right now....could it be a mixture of als/stress? thanks and God Bless you all......

It is most likely stress as I have never heard of it being an ALS symptom. No one, that I remember, has ever mentioned it.

I agree with Joel.

Whenever my BP is high , my GP asks what is bothering me. I'm usually stressing about this or that.
