Question for PALs with hand atrophy

A quick one: Do you have atrophy of fingers?

While my partner's hand shows marked atrophy (intrinsic hand muscles) we do not seem to be able to see any atrophy of his fingers. We both found this peculiar.

Good question - never thought of this before but no my fingers do not show any atrophy. Not much muscle in fingers I guess.

I think you guys got it, fingers have tendons, and the muscles are down in the wrist area. I think that would explain why we seem to have such intrinsic muscle atrophy.
