Hello, I am soon to undergo testing for neuromuscular disease due to an array of symptoms that have developed. I posted about that in "Is this ALS?" section and won't go into detail here, but have a related question.

does anyone know if it is possible to obtain life insurance when one has symptoms, but prior to diagnosis? I have a 2 year old daughter and only minimal life insurance. Something is definitely seriously wrong with me and I am wondering if I can get insurance now.

Advice from family/friends indicates it probably too late and would be contested later in court when insurance company looked into cause of death.

thanks for any info--

Sandra

Your best bet is to ask them straight up.
Its better to get a NO up front instead of paying in those ridiculous fees for a while to find out it was wasted money.
If they say YES , then make sure that you have in writing from them that they understand your situation before purchasing .
Trying to cheat the cheaters will not work .
