My husband was diagnosed with Bulbar ALS in Feb/07... his speech in not slurred, he is able to eat and swallow most anything .He uses a V-pap about 23 + hrs a day.. he is noticing that when he turns his head from side to side his vision is blurred and he sees strange colours. Does anyone else have this problem?
Could some one tell me what types of ALS are likely to be familial or inherited ? Thank you . carol

Hi Carol, welcome to the forum!

Don't know what the vision problems are all about but I would suggest you see an optometrist about it.

All type of ALS can be either familial or inherited.
