Power chairs and hardwood floors

[trying to stay positive]

Anyone have any opinions on or experience with powerchairs on hardwood floors? Do the floors hold up okay? Is traction a problem on the finished floors?

Hi, Tammy has a power wheelchair and we have hardwood floors throughout the house. The chair works perfectly and it has not caused any damage. In the bedrooms where there is carpet when the chair rolls over it the carpet actually moves slightly due the the weight of the chair.

I have hardwood floors and use power scooters. The floors have stood up fine.
