Would anybody know what a "normal' CK Level would be, if there is such a thing. What would be considered high?

Thank You

22 to 198 U/L. I looked it up, this was the first result I got so I think it may be right.

Betty, I know there are two numbers shown, and the ratio of one to the other is important.

thanks Rose and lostinlouisville. Speaking of Kentucky I spent 6 months there, I never knew the true meaning of "FLASH FLOOD" until I went there. Needless to say I ran with my tail between my legs! SCARY!

I missed one. Thank you Laurel.

Thats funny

What part of Kentucky? Louisville is not that prone to flash floods, you should come visit here next time.

I was in Lexington. Very beautiful there, they have some wild weather! Give me a good ol earthquake anytime. I don't do tornadoes well either. I was a basket case the whole time I was there.

When Rick first had his CK checked it was 200. The N suspected ALS. When he was in the explosion that almost took his right leg, his CK went up over 400. As soon as the surgeries were over and the fixator taken off, his CK went back down to 200.

We were told that the CK only indicates that the body is dealing with trauma of some kind. It isn't a real indicator of any MND.

So what would 231 be? High, low, middle of the road?

I high CK level is indicative of something in the autoimmune area and please correct me if I am wrong. I know they look at those levels as part of the GBS diagnosis. They would have leaned more toward CIDP for my wife in the beginning if it was at elevated levels. This is from what I can remember from our discussion with the specialist at that time and all she stated is that all is at a normal level. What is considered "normal" I have never searched further.
