UK residents ..petition to No 10

I was passed this link by my local mnd group, asking my support for this petition to 10 Downing Street. It is asking for more money to be put towards stem cell research.
If you agree with the petition, please sign it and pass it on to as many people as possible. Unfortunately this is only for UK residents. I am sure many people on the forum would support this, but will be excluded due to residency.

what is the state of our government like at the moment anyway, Jennifer? I haven't been around for the last couple of years so I have no idea where Gordon Brown stands on these issues. (We're in Northern Ireland)
