I was given a script for nystatin powder (kind of like iocane powder - odorless, tasteless... I can't get the "Princess Bride" movie out of my head) to clear what the doc thought was a fungal thing. Nystatin powder didn't touch it, nor did any other anti-fungal/yeast doodad.

It wound up being diagnosed as psoriasis. Anyway, I digress...

Would a powder form of nystatin work over a liquid form in this case?

Just a thought...

PZ

Zaphoon, I'm sure you would make an excellent Dread Pirate Roberts.

Zaph, a powder might work if I could snort it through a rolled up $100 bill. That would take care of my nose but I'm not sure if I could do a powder in my mouth. I am going to experiment with some icing sugar to see what happens and I'll let you know.

Make sure you don't confuse Comet or Ajax with that sugar. Your teeth will come out sparkling clean but the side effects are a biatch.

Erica ... I haven't heard of jaw pain related to bulbar issues, but at this point, nothing would surprise me!
