Default Hi, I'm new.

Hello,

My name is Sonia and my mom Shirley died November 8, 2003 of ALS.
I joined this group to see if I could be of help to anyone who is a caregiver or a concerned friend or family member. I with the help of my husband Keith looked after Mom for 18 months, the last 6 months were the worst.

Keith and I were with her all the time and most especially the day she died. She died holding my hand. I can only hope that she is at peace now.

My condolences to anyone else who has lost a loved one.

Sincerely, SoniaT
