Default Keeping meds safe & secure

My hubby was DX with ALS 8/07. During the last 15 months he has built up quite the pharmacy here at home. We have a 15 year old daughter who we trust, but she does have friends over from time to time, and I am not so old that I have forgotten what peer pressure is like.

So we purchased a small safe to keep all the meds in. It has an electronic keypad that you can code with whatever number you choose, as well as a key override. You know, for the days when I have those "senior moments". Hmmm, maybe I AM that old! We keep it on a shelf in the bedroom closet for easy access for hubby.

I was thinking that those with small children at home may also find this an option to consider. We purchased it on Amazon.com and the cost was very reasonable.

Just a thought to help keep the kiddies safe.

Good idea. Thanks for the tip. Even toddlers can climb up and get into almost anywhere.
