hey to szzq and everyone-

Yes, you should have an EMG done at an ALS clinic. I just emailed my neuro about having a repeat EMG done in October. My first one was in May 07, and it only showed mild carpal tunnel and tarsal tunnel syndrome. Let's remember that was the same neuro that told me to take Klonopin for anxiety and go to the ER if my speech continued to be slurred! That was in March 08. My diagnosed of ALS was in June 08.

Anyway, I want my new neuro to PROVE to me that I have ALS. Who knows, it might be some whacko other kind of illness-I can hope that anyway, right?

Didn't mean to ramble, but I agree-have another EMG.
Keep the faith,
brenda
