After a couple of months of trying - next week I will be getting my "accelerated" life insurance benefit. I have State Farm Ins and Whole Life policy. Ended up I had to take it as a loan but will end up getting $120,000. Plenty to pay off my bills and do what home modifications I need for the future.
My GP doctor wrote the letter needed stating I had less than a year to live - considering I could get run over by a truck tomorrow I guess that could be true. Also I had to provide medical records for the last year. Oh yeah, and sign the loan paperwork.
