My core and back muscles are very weak and I flop to the side or forward . Anyone have suggestions? Also my spine is protuding which makes the wheelchair uncomfortable, looking fof suggestions here as well .

Does your wheelchair have tilt and recline? The right angle of tilt solved this for my sister

You can get lateral supports too

What are you using now on the back? Sheepskin?

Yes, I do the recline, but need to be more upright for the cough assist and moving .

I can't use the lateral support as they don't adjust low enough for short people. I am barely 5 feet and about 100 lbs now.

Ho spice nurse is getting me a gel mat for my back but i was also thinking sheepskin .

Ordinarily I would advise a soft support that is mounted to the chair. However, hospice won't want to get into that -- it's a DME or self-install thing. So you might try something like this [disclaimer: used to work for the mfr], that wraps all the way 'round but is cushioned and cuts to size. For your frame, probably the smallest size would work best.
