Default Wish Five of Five Wishes

If anyone has not seen the booklet "Five Wishes," here is the link:

http://agingwithdignity.org/5wishes.pdf

I was not aware this booklet existed until I was helping my mother clean out her mountains of paper work. "Five Wishes" is very well written and not clinical sounding. It helps the critically ill make important decisions about "personal, emotional and spiritual needs as well as your medical wishes." I intend to go over this with my husband, at the right time, to help him make those tough decisions.

I especially liked this selection from Wish Five:

"I wish for my family and friends to look at my dying as a time of personal growth for everyone, including me. This will help me live a meaningful life in my final days."

Not all states allow you to use this, so check the website if you are interested.
