Default Radicava with Kaiser

Hi. My husband was diagnosed with ALS last month

We have Kaiser Oregon. Has anyone successfully gotten Radicava with Kaiser? Any tips for advocacy for us?

Thanks!
Karen

We were told last month at our clinic (Duke Univ) that only one person in the U.S. has been injected. Apparently Medicare has not approved Radicava yet.

Duke is wrong, two people at least in the Facebook ALS group have and there is " bridge" funding to pay for 24 moths while it weaves through Medicare.

That is great! But if that's the case, then why have only two people been injected, do you know? I would think if the bridge was there, more people would be moving forward. This is interesting and I'll look into it.
