The US are so progressive in this sense but here in the UK we are faced with a much more bleak outlook. I for one would much rather spend my days in a specialist ALS clinic than being a growing burden on my family both emotionally and time committment.
I'm only 32 yo with 21 month old and 6 week pregnant wife. Very rapid onset which is apparently unusual.
This has absolutely broken me emotionally.
