nausea/sleeping

This last week my dad has been sleeping most of the day and as of Sunday he's been getting nauseous after the 3rd syringe when feeding him. The doctor only gave him 3 months, is this what happens during the end stage of the disease? I hadn't read anywhere were they get to where they can no longer take being tube fed??? If anyone has any input, I would like to know. thank you all so much!

I am so sorry. This is excruciating I know. It could be different things but it does happen that as the body slows down digestion slows too. Do you have hospice? Is he on new meds? Meds can affect digestion too.

Yes hospice has been called and they come a few times a week and no new meds.
