Cracking noise on Hoyer Lift

I have a Hoyer Advance Lift 340 for use in lifting my wife. She is less than half the weight limit for the lift but when I lift her cracking noise once the lift is 75% raised. Then when lowering the noise starts again from full to 75%. Anyone else have this issue or know how to fix it? We have had the lift since Sept 2016. Bought new. THanks

We had that at one point; ours was a loaner, and well-used. We basically tried to oil all the exposed metal we could find. It went away. But if you see differences or hitches in the movement, I would have it checked out. If it is new, there may be a warranty to seek service under.
