Having a bad chest cold since last Sunday, getting woren out.
Finally dug out the vest from the closet where it's been for last 8 months, cause I didn't need it.
A rep came and re schooled us on how to use it and now twice a day vibrating to break it up in my chest.
Just another piece of useful equipment to make this nightmare bearable.
Does anyone else use a " vest" on a regular bases?
Love ya chally

Another PALS, who is a licensed RT with a slow disease progression, suggested a pulsating vest should be part of daily therapy. My PALS used it for several months until she just plain didn't like it anymore. We were unable to notice any difference in her symptoms before and after she did the pulsating vest therapy. Maybe its effectiveness just depends on the individual. There were certainly no ill-effects from using it.

I use the vest daily for a little over a year. During the vest I also use a nebulizer. The vest is set at 10 minutes. After that I use the vital cough/cough assist.

Matt
