Diarrhea

My PALS has had diarrhea since Wednesday morning. He doesn't feel bad. I have given him immodium down the tube a couple of times and he thought it was getting better but it is still continuing.

Since he doesn't feel bad, it makes me think it isn't a bug?!

Is it possible that bacteria could be in the tube? It has some residue in it. He said a couple of times, the valve came open while he was sleeping and stomach stuff was backed up in the tube.

Is there anyway to rid of the tube of bacteria without having it changed?

I am certainly no expert in this field, but I am thinking maybe some honey in apple cider vinegar.

My thought is the combination is supposed to be good for the digestion and sooth the stomach.
And I know that both have strong anti-bacterial properties.

Is he on Magnesium, if so try cutting back on the dose a bit .
