What size sheets are needed for a hospital bed, regular twin or extra long twin?

I have found normal fitted sheets don't stay on very well. We buy normal length but the 16" extra deep fitted ones. The standard depth ones ping off when I raise the back of the bed.

The fitted rather than flat sheets stand up better to me being moved around on the bed.

If it is 80" long, regular twin sheets should be fine. If it's 84", you want long twin. As Wendy points out, you want "extra deep" or "deep pocket" (as most higher-end sheets are anyway) if buying regular.

We have standard bedding. But they always popped off. We were shopping at Target in the bedding section and found just by chance. Bedding Garters. There're like a garter belt made for a sheets. Sheets now stay in place.

The one thing that I would consider is the deep pocket sheets. If you use a topper or insert, the pockets will not pop out. Plenty of them on Amazon.
