Medical expert witness on ALS?

Does anyone here know of an ALS specialist neurologist who works as an expert witness? It did not matter where they are.
I'm also interested in learning of any lawsuits that claim certain events or exposures caused/triggered ALS. Even if they were not successful, I would like to know if any such lawsuits have been filed in any jurisdiction.
I ask these questions knowing full well that the causes of sporadic ALS are officially unknown.

Hi Betsy,
There are a couple of worldwide expert witness networks on line (Reuters and ORC come to mind) where you can search by keyword for areas of expertise. Apart from BMAA and traumatic brain injury, I am not aware of any studies that reveal anything other than weak correlations (from which causality cannot be inferred), as you say. And, of course, those two suspicions come from observational rather than prospective studies. I have not searched for lawsuits, and to be sure you would probably need to look at db such as LexisNexis.
