Got my cough assist machine a couple of weeks ago. Mine came with a tube that you stick in your mouth. I was wondering what most people use. A tube or a mask? And, which one they have better results with.
Thanks,
Marty

Hi, Marty!
My mom just got one, too. She hasn't used it yet and I'm worried she won't because she's not tech savvy at all. I'm curious to hear the answers.
Do you have other breathing issues or just a weak cough at this point?

Good luck, and hugs to you!
Helga

My sister has a mask. That is what she started with. I don't think she could use a tube as her bulbar symptoms are significant

Helga, I use a Trilogy (bipap) every night. And, it makes me feel less tired during the day. Last breathing test was at 56.

Scared, last time I was at the Pulmonologist, they tested my cough and told me I needed one. I does help me as my cough is weaker than it used to be.
