Happy Friday,

Looks like it is coming along well. The tile you are using looks exactly like the tile I have picked out for our bathroom remodel. Like the walkway. Just a little stressed because our remodel was supposed to start next week but I have not heard from the contractors in over a week and still have not got the final bid done yet. I worry I won't have mine done before Steve really needs it.

Steph the path looks gorgeous and wide! Love it!
Glad it's coming along nicely. Hopefully it won't be long now.
Thanks for sharing. It's nice to see photos and not try to imagine things.
God bless, Janelle x

PS you'll NEVER guess what colour our two bathrooms are.....

Tan/beige greenqueen? The sidewalk is four feet wide with a five foot turning pad at the corner.

For some reason my verticals turned to horizontals when they uploaded to the site. Who knows! I am so glad its almost done. They estimate 2 more weeks. So 8 total weeks In a hotel. Its been expensive and sleepless:(

Scaredwife, I would call the contractor. Sorry I can't remember if your hubby is a vet but if the bid isn't approved thru them, it will be a bit. If it is privately done it is so much easier. We are using the como porcelain tile. Mostly twenty inch but in the bath with the floor done we did twelve.

This weekend I will put the rest of the hardware on the cabinets, install the rollout garbage can, and maybe paint the inside of the corner base cupboard. I need to do some sealing outside and palm trimming but with the rain and tropical storm comi g that is not looking like a good idea.

Looking fantastic!

2 more weeks, you can do it you are on the downhill run now :) Hope the storms aren't too bad there.

For us Tillie just supposed to be 8-10" of rain and 50mph winds....at least that is the early estimate. The only problem is we have had about 50" of rain in our area already this year and the rivers are still flooded. South Florida is in great need however.

Hope you are recovering well.

50" is a lot of rain!

Thanks, I'm definitely on the mend today and will make it to do my shift at the koala care centre this afternoon. I feel like I should wear a veil as I still look pretty puffy but not a total fright lol

I'm so glad it's coming along, Steph. I KNOW you'll be happy to move back in!

Don't work too hard this weekend!

They tell me two weeks so Just have a couple things inside and out to do. Hoping the weather cooperates but they have Erica coming around the tip of FL and into the gulf to Tampa. We have had our yearly rain quota and don't need more. I won't be driving far I can tell you that!

Steph, so glad the end is in sight! Be sure your contractors hire a good cleaning crew before you return. The dust will not be good for Steve! Looks like it will be beautiful!

Sorry Steph, bathrooms here match the kitchen and lounge...green!
There are soooo many shades of my favourite colour!
We are in the process of getting new cupboards for the study...now I know I don't have to tell you what colour I've picked!
Everyone gets very excited when I buy something...ANYTHING that's not green!
J xxx

Green is my Favorite colour too Janelle, not sure if I will put any in the new house thou, I just might step outside the box.
Love Gem

Looks fabulous! You are going to love it when it is all done!

hey steph, looks great! i had mine done up but tried to do it with least evasive process. yes clean up is a problem. i used HISA grant and that was good. now i am getting a SAH grant to build a bedroom/bath just for my special little self (ha). still don't have pics figured out yet but will some day. love chally

Good for you chally. The process to get the grant approved took us 6 months. Construction is taking 2. I am adding things like pulls on the cabinets in the kitchen to make it easier to open a cabinet, roll out baskets so my husband can reach things and not fall, etc. Its been a bit of extra work for me but it will make things even easier for him. I did choose two handled faucets...one for hot and one for cold. The lever type has meant steve has gotten burnt a couple of times. Kohler products, while more expensive, have a lifetime guarantee and are ada compliant. I have changed out the door handles. Only the handles on doorways being widened needed to be changed. I did them all. I am a pretty good installer!
