Max has a note in his blog regarding techniques:
There are a few threads specifically on this including:

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

But to the question that incentivized me to create yet another thread (yat)...

The discussions mention assisted breath stacking which uses a modified resuscitation bag to force the 'second' breath in.

I do not have one of those but it occurred to me that I could force extra air in by 'swallowing' it. Not truly swallowing into my stomach, but by gulping extra air into my lungs.

I have been doing this but my capacity seems to be diminishing anyway...

Any thoughts on this 'assisted stacking' method?

I am not completely sure I understood but when I tried what I think you said I did not feel the breath going to the same area- not as deep if that makes sense
Unfortunately breath stacking might slow things down but we are going to continue to decline...wish it were not so
