Travel Insurance for Cuba?

We have been able to find a travel insurance company who will cover a pre-existing condition, no questions asked if you book the insurance within 21 days of booking your trip.Travelsafe.com. However, my husband dearly wants to go to Cuba, and since Travelsafe is underwritten by a US firm, they will not cover Cuba. We are in Canada. Does anyone know of a travel insurance company that sells in Canada and covers Cuba?

We bought through sunwing, they never asked, we never told. Luckily didn't have to use it though.

but the question would be: did the contract have an exclusion for Cuba?

Travelbugg - did you ask the travel insurance company if they know of someone? Most companies are aware of their competition...

your travel agent should be able to guide you . If you don't have one, I am sure you could buy the insurance thru them even if you are not booking the trip with them.
