ABC special Sunday Night raised $52 million

ABC had a great special about ALS & Muscular Dystrophy Sunday night - it was called a muscles diseases special. They raised 52 million! The special featured an amazing fella named "Eric" who has the bulpar condition but otherwise seemed to have most of his faculties. If you missed it it might be on ABC's website.

But I hate it when they use "presentable" patients, such as a guy with a limp or someone who has" most of his faculties." They don't show what the disease is truly about.

Atsugi: Good point about who they use to represent us. I wonder if they are fearful of making some viewers uncomfortable who might otherwise stay tuned in & donate?
