"There is a topic heating up on the potential of propofol as a therapeutic for ALS. Since this is not something that can be a DIY (Do it yourself) trial, I would like to ask anyone who is going to have a surgical procedure done and propofol is used as the anethsetic (i.e. feeding tube placement, etc) to please pay close attention to your ALS symptoms and report any changes (hopefully in the form of improvements) to your neurologist.
