Default Dizziness

My brother has been very light headed for over a year. When he sits up in bed it takes him 15 min or more to just be able stand up but then he's dizzy all over again they say this isn't part of the disease but what can it be. He went to and ear specialist and they couldn't find anything wrong. He took medicine for vertigo and it didn't work. I can't imagine feeling like that all day long. Any ideas what it could be. I think he would get out more if he could just get rid of this feeling and making it hard for him focus.

Default Re: Dizziness

Hi Patty, my partner Michel had the same problem. They thought it was vertigo too. It made it extremely difficult to help move him, sit him, lie him down. Then when he refused to take Rilutek, it disappeared within 24 hours and never came back. We were of course shocked, but when you check for symptoms, it is listed. Of course, it is an enormous decision to stop taking Rilutek, but this was his experience. I hope this helps?
All the best, Graham
