I didn't want to put this under "Stories of Hope" just yet, but a few weeks ago I looked up cures for ALS and found that acupressure points on the instep of the human feet (massage), called Foot Nerve Therapy in Canada (originating from China) has cured people with ALS. My mom has been getting massages from family (one of which is a reflexologist) and she said that she is now getting muscle spasms in her arms. This is a good thing, as ALS patients stop muscle spasms when their muscles die. According to Dr. Alice Fan, spasms indicates the muscles throughout the body are re-growing slowly. I suggest googling "Foot Nerve Therapy ALS" and find the document by Dr. Alice Fan. I do want to add that my mom has also undergone the following treatments over the past two years under the supervision of her doctor:
Her daily regimen:
- gall bladder detox
- heavy metal detox (she had mercury and cadmium poisoning [cadmium can be from cell phones, so she no longer holds the phone to her ear, but has it on speakerphone])
- mercury taken out of her teeth (fillings, root canals, etc. from a specialized dentist)
Her daily regimen:
- cats claw for lyme disease
- anti-fungal drops (for fungus infections that were attacking her nerves, brain, and heart)
- water filter (she had arsenic poisoning from her well water)
- coconut oil
- fish oil
- flax seed oil
- A bunch of vitamins that are good for the nerves, including B, MSM, DHEA, and more
- She no longer eats food with MSG (monosodium glutamate), corn syrup, high fructose corn syrup or any other food additive. You can get a list of additives at cspinet (dot) org, and a list of MSG-containing foods at msgtruth (dot) org
- She has also started physical therapy with a specialist three times a week, although she should be having it every day.
