In researching something for my husband, I found this organization that loans AT equipment and helps with housing, etc... for those with disabilities in FLA. Thought you Floridians might be interested, if you were unaware of this program.

What a great resource! I don't think there are too many PALS here in FL (on this site)--but there are a few!

I think just with some of my other issues--I qualify for disabled housing--and have been having a heck of a time finding it--there are some posted within that place. Thanks so much for listing it!

Here in Jacksonville F.A.A.S.T. is amazing.

I was referred there by my ALS Support Group Coordinator. This is where I got the 30 day loan of a laptop with SmartNav on it to see if the camera mouse and online keyboard would work for me. They have all kinds of adaptive things you can try. From computer aids to eating utensils.
I've never seen such an array of adaptive items. And the people were extremely nice too.
