Hello,
When you became familiar with ALS (PALS or CALS) did anyone talk to you about oxidative stress? Is it a term that has come across your radar? It is caused by many factors, from (specific) environmental to strenuous endurance activities.
Also did they ask about other neurological diseases in your family history such as Alzheimer's or Parkinsons?
As most of you know, Joy passed on July 1st. However I am not done with this disease yet. A concept came to me today while walking the dogs and when I pursued it, I hit a mine field of research supporting what is really a vague theory. The more I read, the more there is clarity...but I could be reading for years.
I would have to think there are people who know this area inside and out...including some of you. I want to pursue it and see where it goes.
