catheter for 2 days

oh boy, 2 days ago my hospice nurse gave me a catheter. I didn't like it but I loved it when I didn't have to go to the bathroom. BUT it started making my legs worse, I couldn't sleep at night because the hose wasn't long enough. I was wasted all day. Then it started getting involved with my wheels, etc. they took it out this morning and then I slept all day. My belated advice, is don't get one when you freaking live alone. There's no way I could have taken care of it. live and learn.

I'm sorry you have to live alone. I'd never be able to manage.
