I want to appologize for my Blog entry that upset most people, I have deleted it.
What I was trying to do is reinforce the statement I always use - ALS does not have to be fatal. It is not necessarily an automatic death sentence. If you have the support and provision to be cared for you can live indefinitely. All I have ever tried to do is make sure everyone can make an informed decision and not to automatically let their doctors talk you out of it. I respect everyones decision to carry on or not. I have said many times that I realize not everyone can.
But for those that can I keep making that statement.
I just wanted appologize to those that I upset.
After I post this I am closing this thread. I don't want any further comments about it. Thank you for respecting my wishes.
