does twitching stop once u are on the vent

My mom has ALS she got on the vent nov5 and all her twitching as stopped she still eats on her own she does not have a peg.. And she moving her feet very little when before she could not move them at all. Please some one give me some information IVE been doing my own reacher and looks like my mom was missed dng..

i would agree with you, though let me make it VERY VERY clear that i am not a professional and have way to tell you for sure that "yes, she was misdiagnosed". That being said- Ive never heard of anyone regaining the ability to move after being put on a vent.
my pals has been on a vent for 6 years and he still twitches.
this could be great news. please keep us updated.

Thank u for responding.. I've asked this question on many sites and know one answer me. She has a lot of symptoms of ALS but they just don't add up..plus they gave her IVIG but no therapy and the doc said well it didn't work so its ALS but they didn't do a biopsy on her..I need to find a real good doctor..
