Knee Braces

I have been using an ace bandage to keep my left knee in place, its twists and pops with the slightest move... It helps so now i am thinking about getting a brace. The muscles connected to my knee have been wasting, I was wondering if anyone with ALS lost use of the part of the body that needed a brace first?

My husband uses two Roylan B.I G knee braces, available through Sammons Preston The web site seems to be down, but I will try to send you a PM with a link. His knees are bone on bone, and has had surgery 3 times on one(before ALS) they are comfy, and give a lot of support. He will not go out without them on.

My husband uses them, too. He couldn't use the walker around the house if he didn't.
