Another fall for my mom

My mom fell again last night and she thinks she broke her toe. She didn't go to the hospital because she said they wouldn't really do anything for a broken toe. I guess she has a point. My father was terrified because she made a lot of noise when she fell and he thought it would be much worse. I guess if it is only her toe we are lucky. And now for some good news, her power wheelchair is now ordered and at no cost to my parents.

Dana, I'm so glad her power wheel chair is in the works and won't cost your parents anything. I've broken toes before, and even re-broke one that had nearly healed. Your mother's right... just use ice on it for a few moments at a time, stay off it and be careful... especially be careful. Give her a hug from me...

Ouch - glad it was seemingly minor but a broken toe hurts! Good to hear the chair is on order.
