Hi all,
I'm leaving today for my Dad's farm. (When I was there earlier this month Dad & I watched a doe and her fawn walk through the pasture about 100 yards from the deck so I know the peacefulness of morning coffee in the country). We are taking him to Winnipeg on Tuesday to see a specialist. From what the rep. at the ALS society has told me they will give Dad an assessment, do blood work, and if time allows, an EMG. Things he has never had addressed since being diagnosed. I feel that we are heading in the right direction. I am finding it hard to deal with the unknown here so hopefully we will get some help this time.
Since visiting this forum I feel much more enlightened about this disease and have a load of questions that need to be answered. This is largely due to the wonderful, helpful and sharing people in here.
Take care and bless you all.
Judy
