well, as much as i have tried to avoid this stage of my life, it is time to get mobile.
any info on wheelchairs will be much appreciated.
i would need a left hand control for sure.
but i have no experience, and do not even know what options are available.
i live in a fairly small "town" so i doubt i can find a showroom for any examples. about the best they would offer is a catalogue.
so those of you who know anything.... please fill me in.
thank you all in advance.
sorry we are all here. but very glad to know you are all out there.
i also wanted to say, this is a very friendly and caring forum.
i am glad it is not just full of medical reprintred reports.
its the personal things that matter, so thank you all.

Hi ronney. Do you have an occupational or physical therapist? They should be able to help you with mobility issues. Your Neuro should be able to point you in the right direction if you don't. Call the nearest ALSA chapter or MDA and they can give advice as well. There are some people here with chairs and they will have some input as well.
