ALS/MND & Solid Organ Transplant

I promised my wife I would post this question. Has anyone else on the forum had a solid organ transplant. Long story, but I had a kidney transplant in 1993, after months of dialysis following a failed transplant in 1991. My sister, a true hero, gave me the gift of life in 1993.

My wife, with absolutley no medical background, swears there must be some correlation. We have changed some of my immunosupressive drugs, but I have seen no improvement with MND.

Dan, I have not heard of any other PALS that were also organ recipients. Your sister gave you also a gift of love!
