Maybe Tom's answer is the best, his wheelchair has 4 large tires, it's a two seater with electric start and power steering.

I have to wear the boots and calf pieces everyday anyway for swelling so it worked out well. He said wrap the toes on the other foot if it felt better but there's not much else you can do with toe breaks. So, I guess I'm almost back to normal. Thanks to everyone for your concern and well wishes.

Gosh Al! So sorry to hear about your fall. I have been a baddie, have been absent from forum. Super busy with hubby and house chores, momma cats poppin' out kitties, boy....am I in trouble! lol
Yes, my friend Barry told me about your fall. Glad you are ok now! So you take immodium too, when needed, eh? That is some good stuff.....it works! Okay, gotta go...very tired. My niece's 20 yr old son (a paraplegic since he was 19 mos old due to car accident) passed today after they switched his trach tube, he went into cardiac arrest, that was a blow.....I am practically drained. You take care of yourself. Praying for you gus on this forum. God bless!

Al, I'd agree that it sounds a lot better, but tell that ankle to behave. Your disaster sure gave me a jolt to be careful. Don't you love being "the example" for us to learn from?
