I trust my doctor because:
1. He has been highly schooled in his field and is dedicated to my health and well-being.
2. He has been highly trained and is subsequently
3. Highly skilled.
4. He just knows more than I do.
5. He has seen more than I have.
6. Has use of tools and the knowledge to use them that I do not.
7. He cares about getting it right!
If you have not yet been diagnosed and are currently under the care of a physician that has more training, education, experience and skills than you have, please trust the report they have; be it good or bad.
In the case of a bad report, always get a second opinion. At any rate, have a round on the house, courtesy of PZ and friends at The Forum Pub!
In the case of a good report, do a "happy dance" and have one on the house, courtesy of PZ and friends at The Forum Pub!
P.S.
I am going to try and influence my doctor towards a more lenient diagnosis, such as BFS. I'll let you know how far my influence goes after the middle of April.
P.P.S.
