Hey Yall...I went to establish a neuro here near my home. Mayo said I needed to have one nearby in case something happened. I am five hours from Mayo.

Well, after we had a conversation, he asked if I would consider coming out to Mercer School of Medicine where he teaches neuro and let him talk to the students about me. And..let them see my tongue! LOL He said one might go a whole lifetime and never see anyone with ALS and PBP. I said I would do it.

What the hey...someone might get inspired and go into research and find a cure!:-D

Chef, that's wonderful! Keep us posted. Mike is going to give Johns Hopkins some tissue samples for research too. Apparently they take a tiny pinch of skin from the hand and grow the cells. Anything we can do for research and ultimately get a cure.
