have long standing appt to see the wretched neuro at Agen, the one who sent me off on the goose chase to Toulouse the other day, the one who forgot I was in a wheelchair. I had decided never to set wheel in that hospital again but I need the info she has about me, my dossier. I am afraid of being very very very rude to her, which, in this world of power specialists and humble patients will get me nowhere good. Y

You know how you plan conversations ahead, well, i have all the icy cold remarks to make, but I can never stop from breaking down and crying and I get more and more frustrat"ed as I cannot make my sellf understood in tears. SHall I go or not? OR move on to a new neuro in a new hospital?

Fantasy - I tell her calmly what happened and she apologises profusely and says (as she said in the past but reneged on it) let me send you to swimming therapy and give you a letter to take to the ALS centre where they kniow what they are talking about, not like me, a humble neurologist who has never seen an ALS patient before"
What are the odds, do you think? ANyone open a boook on it?

Believe with all of your heart and soul that it will be a pleasant and productive meeting with that Neuro and all of your requests will be met with compassion! Focus on positive expectations and believe in that reality. I do believe that what we project is what we receive so let's make another reality! [remind me of that the next time I go on a rant :] Did you explore that link that I sent you? Can't they assist you? Must run and shower as I am flying out this AM. LOVE YOU

thank you. I needed reminding of that! Yes, I did explore the link, for which thank you, but typically French, not much there, unfortunately.
But I am going to have real trouib le being nice to that ù^=)<. Must keep saying indigo indigo indigo to remind me

Oh IrisMarie, I know you had your appointment by now, I hope it all went well hun. It is so hard to just bite your tongue when ya just want to go off on someone huh! I had a problem with a doctor once, and I went off on her and it got me no where. In fact she made my life a living hell for a short time. All the doctors I have had since have been wonderful. I still think about that mean doctor, and think, hummmm maybe a letter to her bosses 7 years later would put her in check...but I have found to put my negative energy in check instead. Its hard to believe that they actually work for YOU huh! Some people are just mean. (I had heard bad things about that doctor before I went to see her, but I didnt have a choice because my regular doctor left due to a death in the family) We just have to accept that. It actually shocks me when people are mean, and I dont ever think I will get used to it but it is what it is. Please let us know how it went and if you were able to bite your tongue. Maybe you could use one of those pretty bows you came up with to keep your mouth shut? haha Hope it wasnt to much trauma at the dentist too! Poor boo boo, sending you my hugs across the globe!......Hugs, Kari
