useless lung , muscles gone

hi everybody
my father is gettin worse
his heart rate is always about 120 -BPM-
he cant breath properly because he has few muscles to do it
doctors say that he uses only 1/3 of his lungs-upper side of his chest- while breathing
is that the way it goes for everybody???
nothing can help him???
my prayers go nowhere

Yeah... poor thing. This has been a very rough road for her... hope she stops by for a dose of hugs and support.
