Hello everyone! I have a question, it seemed like my grandma had ALS. She had it "over 8 years and because we didnt know what it was she never had the right equipment like bipap and stuff. I read that upcoming generations mostly have a better prognosis especially if people get it before the age of 35, could that be right?! Greetings

Joy 1 family member with ALS does NOT equal FALS. With one relative with the disease your risk is the same as a person from a family that never had ALS in its history. So your question is irrelevant to you. The only reason there might be a better prognosis for future generations is better disease management as I hope eventually a cu re
I have read your other threads and seen your posts on FB. Your symptoms do not seem like ALS to me. Work with your physicians and please stop thinking about ALS
