Please consider participating in the second annual
www.MoreThanOurStories.org
Feb 12-13 in Washington, DC.
This is a different kind of advocacy conference.
No Powerpoint. No formal presentations. Lots of healthy discussion about government policies that can be improved for people dealing with ALS.
Everyone is welcome.
Please take a look at the website to see the agenda and goals. It's a day of peer-to-peer discussion followed by a Hill Day when each person talks about items of personal importance. No corporate talking points. No pre-set priorities. It's about YOU and what is important to you.
Thanks. We tried this last year and had about 25 awesome participants. We didn't all agree. We didn't have to agree. We learned from one another. It was energizing for people who are not satisfied with the status quo. It's a nice complement to the big organizational advocacy conference.
I'm happy to help with any questions.
